Pawfectionist Mobile Grooming – Policies & Terms
General Guidelines
• We provide grooming for dogs only. We do not service cats.
• Prices vary depending on the dog’s coat type, condition, size, weight, and behavior during the session.
• Breeds with special coat needs (e.g., Bernese Mountain Dogs, Pomeranians, Huskies) have higher grooming rates.
• Final cost is confirmed after the grooming session.
Deposits & Cancellations
• A $20 non-refundable deposit is required to confirm all appointments.
• Appointments must be canceled within 2 days (in case of emergency) to allow rescheduling. Deposits are non-refundable for late cancellations.
• If the customer is not present at the time of service, the groomer will wait 15 minutes maximum. If no one arrives, the appointment will be canceled and the deposit will not be refunded.
Customer Responsibilities
• Owners are not allowed inside the grooming van for safety and sanitary reasons.
• If dissatisfied with the final groom, minor adjustments can be made immediately, but the quoted fee must still be paid.
Special Conditions
• Owners must inform us if their dog is:
• Aggressive (tranquilizers prescribed by a vet must be given before the appointment)
• A puppy
• Hyperactive or difficult to handle
• Experiencing health changes
• If grooming cannot be fully completed due to the dog’s behavior, the dog’s well-being takes priority over appearance. Partial grooms may still be charged.
• Pawfectionist does not provide sedatives. Consult your vet for prescriptions.
Elderly & Special-Needs Dogs
• Grooming elderly or special-needs dogs will be done with care, but an ideal cut cannot always be guaranteed. No discounts apply.
• Senior pets may require breaks during grooming, which can extend the session.
• Grooming can be stressful for older pets. Pawfectionist is not responsible for any injury or sudden death that may occur.
• Shaving may expose or cause skin issues such as cuts, irritations, or circulation problems.
Vaccinations
• A valid vaccination record, especially proof of rabies vaccine, is required.
• The vaccination card must be sent via text or email at the time of booking.
